Public DomainThe public domain is where all things that are free to use. They can also be called royalty-free, where you can basically edit or change anything on the internet. You should read the licensing carefully to make sure not to get copyrighted. AttributionYou can basically edit or change anything you want and remix it and etc. But, the only thing you really have to do is to credit them. It is the second to last for the strictness of the rights, because all you need to do is to credit them and that is all. Attribution SharealikeAttribution Sharealike is also one of the more simpler ones and has one of the least restrictions. Basically, you need to credit them if you use their work. For example, like adding or editing the image you would need to credit them with the exact license that they have under it (attribution sharealike) and give them credits and if you share your work people that use your will also have to credit the original person. Attribution Non-CommercialThis is basically where everything you can use, because it is attribution, but you can't get money from using the image. Like one example is if you use on a music video and you get money for it you can get copyrighted. So, basically you can use it as long as you credit the owner/artist and you don't use it for money. Attribution Non-Commercial SharealikeThis is basically, and as you can probably tell both Sharealike and Non-commercial together because you can't use it for earning money but also you need to have a specific way to credit the owner. Also, you would need to use the same rules, like no one can profit from your work and they need to credit the person who owned it first. Attribution NoderivsThis is the 6th ranked of the least strict creative commons license. Basically, you can't have edits or you can't remix the songs. So, it's easy to break the rules for it because you can't make it have a small change in color filters or anything else, because it is a noderivs. Scott Richard Attribution Non-commercial NoderivsThis is one of the most strictest ones, basically you can use it but you need to credit them, you can't profit, and you are also not allowed to edit, remix or change anything in the image. CopyrightCopy right is the strictest rule. It has to use a fair use disclaimer, is you want to use the image and also you would need to use for non profit reasons and also it has to be criticism, comment, new reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research purposes. If it is not in the category you will have to ask permission to use it or maybe buy it. Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research.
