In this project, I was supposed to make 2 different assignments that had to do with color. One of them was color names and that was the first one, I had to make 15 shapes with different colors and label their HEX codes and RGB values. The second one was color schemes, I had to make 4 different color schemes/palettes (monochrome, analogous, complementary, triadic). I had to label them with their HEX code, the website I used was adobe, it was pretty easy to use because of the setting options of the 4 different types of color schemes. One challenge I had faced Color NamesColor Schemes

Typography is the changing of a word by the style or the look of it. Typography is important since it can tell/show a lot about a word or anything the word is affiliated with. It can show if something looks professional or the opposite. I think the quote “Each font has a personality and a purpose” means that every font can show something about it like what kind of mood it gives off or a font that describes a word or the phrase. I learned a lot from typography, and one of the main things I learned I already mentioned was that the 5 types of fonts and how they can be utilized. Another thing I learned was that typography is something that is used daily, even if you think it's not. Typeface ComparisonIn this I typed out 2 words for 10 different fonts. One out of the two doesn't match the font while the other one does. Word PortraitsHere I typed out "hello" 5 times, and each time with a different font.
In the three exercises, I was supposed to learn how to make shapes more precisely. While, I was also supposed to learn how to make PNGs through the pen tool too. The pen tool, is a multi-use type of tool, because you can make shapes with it. But you can also cut out things with it, and make PNGs too. My summative kind of shows a little bit about me, because there is a character from a anime that I relate too, then there is also a Kurt Cobain since I enjoy listening to Nirvana. But also there are a few other things that I think show little about myself, kind of personality wise and etc. So it's basically a "collage" about me. One of the challenges that I faced while using the pen tool was to make the curves match up with the cut outs of the images.
Image sources Reki from Sk8 Flag Kurt Cobain Pompompurin Emoji This is meaningful to me because this is my favorite Sanrio character. This is "my melody" and she is basically a character that is from Sanrio. I really liked her character since I was younger . I also have a stuffed animal version of her since I was around 4. Here is where I got inspiration picture (click here)
A few things I learnt in this lesson is that, you can modify squares and circles into paths and make unique shapes with them. Also, I learnt that you can make almost any shape on gravit with paths or by making a shape into paths to modify it.
Here I did some pages in gravit. I learned how to change the sizes of the pages and to add in text into the pages aswell.
The project was a little bit challenging for me because my project restarted it self. But the project itself wasn't that bad, it was still somewhat confusing because it was hard to make sure my self portrait was even and not as weird as it seemed like in the beginning. It was also kind of hard to tell how and where parts of my face should've been, but it was a learning experience that made m realize coding isn't for me. I had a lot to realize during my making of my "drawing with code". My first step when I had decided to do a self portrait was doing my nose which ended up just being a circle, then I did my hair, probably it was one of the more confusing parts because I have pink hair under my natural color. Also, doing my lips was very annoying too because I couldn't tell if i really needed to make them as round as I could or not because of the fact that my lips are kind of weirdly shaped. So this project wasn't really my favorite, but it was a learning experience. If you want to try learning javascript on Khan Academy click here!
