Typography is the changing of a word by the style or the look of it. Typography is important since it can tell/show a lot about a word or anything the word is affiliated with. It can show if something looks professional or the opposite. I think the quote “Each font has a personality and a purpose” means that every font can show something about it like what kind of mood it gives off or a font that describes a word or the phrase. I learned a lot from typography, and one of the main things I learned I already mentioned was that the 5 types of fonts and how they can be utilized. Another thing I learned was that typography is something that is used daily, even if you think it's not. Typeface ComparisonIn this I typed out 2 words for 10 different fonts. One out of the two doesn't match the font while the other one does. Word PortraitsHere I typed out "hello" 5 times, and each time with a different font.
